AIHS Dr. Ryan Keating of California State University will discuss the Irish Brigade during the US Civil War in a Zoom lecutre hosted by the American Irish Historical Society on Thursday, October 17.
The "Irish Brigade," fighting under the green and gold flag of the homeland, was composed of the 63rd, 69th, 88th New York, 28th Massachusetts and the 116th Pennsylvania.
