WASHINGTON (AP) — Harvard University is challenging the Trump administration’s decision to bar the Ivy League school from enrolling foreign students, calling it unconstitutional retaliation for defying the White House’s political demands.

The Trump administration has barred Harvard from admitting new international students. The reason cited is an unsafe campus environment and alleged ties to the Chinese Communist Party. The university must provide requested records within 72 hours.
