Online jail records show a man was booked on first degree murder in the Johnson County Jail late Tuesday night.

More than an inch of rain fell in parts of Johnson County during Tuesday evening's storms, according to NWS precipitation reports. At the Iowa City Municipal Airport, 1.35 inches of rain was measured.
