Joy Behar was absent for a majority of episodes of The View during the first week of 2025. Viewers were curious why the TV personality wasn’t sitting alongside her cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines,

Behar is missing from today’s episode of The View. When the Tuesday episode began, Goldberg got her absence out of the way right at the top. She told the audience, “All kinds of stuff is going on today. Joy is not here. She’ll be back tomorrow, we think.”

The longtime co-host has been out since Monday (Feb. 3), which was not unusual for her since she works four days per week on the show, but her absence since Tuesday (Feb. 4) has been very much felt around the Hot Topics table.
