CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — Kanawha County for the first time moved into gold after spending weeks on the West Virginia county alert system, color-coded map first in red and then orange.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — After three straight days of being in yellow on West Virginia’s county alert map, Kanawha County has returned to gold. Cabell County moved from yellow to orange.
