They left Marcus, who had autism, at home alone taped in a blanket and in a closet. While they had a fan running, temperatures inside rose well over 100 degrees. They returned to find Marcus dead.

A 23-year-old Maplewood man faces several criminal charges, including murder, in connection to the shooting death of Marcus Anthony Baker Jr. on St. Paul's Raspberry Island in August.

When they arrived, charging documents said officers found a man, later identified as Baker Jr., in the back seat of a Chevy Suburban, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
