Maine Gov. Janet Mills signed it into law last week. It gives doctors the option to list the health institution they work for instead.
The bill, LD 538, was introduced by Rep. Sally Cluchey, a democrat from Bowdoinham. It got final approval from both the Maine House and Maine Senate on May 27 before Mills signed it two days later.
