Leith Walk Elementary-Middle School in Baltimore is getting a new playground with sliding boards, a garden and rock climbing wall thanks to nonprofit KaBOOM.

Middle School in Baltimore will soon enjoy a brand-new, state-of-the-art playground thanks to a grant from the nonprofit KaBOOM.

The 18.5-acre Gipson Play Plaza, set to officially open on June 6, is one of the first major additions to Dorothea Dix Park.
