The New York Yankees are dealing with a few potentially big problems: They need help at third base; they're concerned about Giancarlo Stanton's elbow injury; and they have a disgruntled starting pitcher in Marcus Stroman.

Stanton returned to New York on Monday, leaving camp with what Boone called a “personal” matter. NJ Advance Media reported that same morning that Stanton — who is dealing with tennis elbow in both of his arms — was traveling north to visit with the head of the Yankees’ medical team.
