A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the NWS Raleigh NC on Thursday at 7:24 p.m. in effect until 8:15 p.m. The warning is for Chatham, Harnett and Lee counties.

More rounds of scattered thunderstorms are likely this afternoon with another round of life-threatening flash flooding likely.
