SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team has reportedly added another player from the transfer portal, and this time around it’s a very familiar face here in Michiana. According to On3.com, former South Bend Saint Joseph star Kelly Ratigan is coming to the Irish.

Notre Dame will host defensive lineman Marcus Almada for an official visit in June. Almada, who is playing his high-school football at Marion (Mass.) Tabor Academy, will be in South Bend to visit with the Fighting Irish on June 13. He has already visited UCLA and Oklahoma State and has more on the docket, including Kentucky and Syracuse.

For their trip to South Bend, Ind. to pay off the back half of a home-and-home series, Texas A&M announced on Monday the kickoff for the Notre Dame matchup on Saturday, Sept. 13 will be at 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcasted nationally by NBC.

The first official kickoff time of the 2025 college football season has been announced for the USC Trojans. It will be another night game for the annual Jeweled Shillelagh rivalry game between the Trojans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
