Dark Mofo 2019: Ogoh-Ogoh burning. A giant swift parrot in a nest in a 10m high wooden flame tree has gone up in smoke and fireworks at Macquarie Point
With a soundtrack of thundering drums and a brass marching band the parrot was hoisted by crane into a nest in the tree. The parrot then burst into flames, eventually taking the tree with it.
