Former Shoal River principal, Gary Massey, was named as principal for Bruner Middle School in Fort Walton Beach on April 22, prompting a search for Shoal River’s next principal.

Shoal River Middle School is a public school located in Crestview, FL, which is in a fringe rural setting. The student population of Shoal River Middle School is 927 and the school serves 6-8.

But it may end after the program’s teacher retires after this school year. And that, said Shoal River Middle School industrial arts teacher Dale Chavers, would be detrimental to students.
