A total of 13 people have been arrested and extra police have been deployed after an attack on a pensioner sparked anti-migrant unrest in a small town in southern Spain.Three people of North African origin have been detained on suspicion of attacking the 68-year-old man in Torre Pacheco last Wednesday.

Spanish police have arrested 10 people after three nights of clashes between far-right groups and North African migrants in a town in southeastern Spain, the government said on Monday.

Prosecutors said the local head of Deport Them Now, an anti-immigrant group, helped incite four days of violence that have rattled a town with a large North African community.
