Spanish police have arrested eight people after three nights of clashes between far-right groups and North African migrants in a town in southeastern Spain, the government said on Monday.

At least eight people have been detained following violent clashes in the southeastern Spanish town of Torre-Pacheco.

Clashes in the town broke out on Saturday night after a 68-year-old man told Spanish media he had been beaten up earlier in the week by three men of North African origin. View on euronews
