The world's 10 highest-earning sports stars have been released by Forbes - and you might recognize some of the names. In the report, published Thursday (May 15), Portuguese soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned the world's richest athlete earning an estimated $275 million.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still raking in the paper. The Al-Nassr forward is the highest-paid athlete in 2025, according to Brett Knight of Forbes, bringing in $275 million between his on- and off-field earnings.
