On Wednesday, the District of Lake Country announced the washrooms in Swalwell Park were closing earlier than their scheduled closure at the end of October because of repeated vandalism.

The District of Lake Country said soap dispensers were burned and doors were wrenched off of their hinges in Swalwell Park’s washrooms in mid-October.

RCMP haven’t elaborated on what the alleged act was, but the man was inside his parked car across from Swalwell Park in Lake Country just after 4 p.m.
