One soldier is dead and another is injured after an aviation training incident on June 11, the military announced.

A soldier was killed and another wounded in a helicopter crash during a training exercise at a Kentucky Army base Wednesday, according to reports.

The aviation accident, which occurred on Wednesday night, is under investigation, the 101st Airborne Division said.
