Robert Shields III accepted a plea deal in the murder of 15-year-old Jaylah Perry, who was shot and killed at her north Toledo home in March 2024.

A 24-year-old Venezuelan man was arrested after posing as a 16-year-old high school student in Ohio, officials said. He also told the school that he was a victim of human trafficking, police said.
