In addition to performing their everyday life-saving duties, Chesterfield County firefighters made a special stop on Sunday to help a local Make-A-Wish kid get his dream trip.

Southside Virginia Emergency Crew says its agreement with the city expired in January 2024, and without a new agreement, they will stop service on July 1.
