On Monday, dozens gathered at the West Virginia Veterans Memorial at the State Capitol Complex in Charleston to kick off the weeklong event and lay a wreath at a Statehouse Ceremony.

Walker said she hopes the new center will inspire the next generation of lawyers and judges by providing more education and access to West Virginia’s court system at the state Capitol building.
