Netflix has announced that it's adding support for HDR10+ streaming, on top of the existing HDR10 and Dolby Vision formats that are already offered on the streaming service. HDR10+ should offer greater visual fidelity on a per-frame basis for Netflix's frequently dark original programming.

Netflix has finally added a feature many viewers have requested for years – especially those with Samsung TVs. The streaming service has introduced HDR10+ to its picture formats, which is a significant step up from the standard HDR many have had to put up with over a considerable period.

Netflix announced today that it has started offering HDR movies and shows in the HDR10+ format.
