Former Mets captain David Wright received the required five percent of the Hall of Fame votes to remain on the ballot.
Carlos Beltran was a close call as the Baseball Hall of Fame inductions were announced on Tuesday. Beltran fell about five percent shy of induction.
The trio of stars, each of whom spent part of their career in New York, will be inducted in Cooperstown on July 27.
