Star point guard Tahaad Pettiford has withdrawn from the NBA Draft, he announced on social media Wednesday, confirming his spot on the Tigers’ roster next season. The decision comes after Pettiford declared for the draft on April 7 while maintaining his college eligibility.

Like many of his teammates in the past, Pettiford announced his intentions to enter the draft, but without an agent. Forwards Johni Broome and Dylan Cardwell both had entered the draft to test the NBA Combine and go through the process before they returned to the Tigers. Pettiford is doing the same.

Tahaad Pettiford competed in the draft combine, emerging as one of the top performers following a 23-point, eight-assist effort on May 14.
