A former Portland Trail Blazer will spend eight years in prison for raping a woman at a Lake Oswego party.

The charges stemmed from an assault that took place in Lake Oswego at the home of former NBA player Robert Covington in 2021.

“I knew no matter how famous Mr. McLemore was or how much he may have loved and respected his family, he was still capable of hurting someone else,” she said.
