The Chicago Blackhawks’ rebuilding squad will get quite the test on the opening night of the NHL regular season.

A trade pitch from Heavy.con has the Chicago Blackhawks acquiring Patrik Laine from the Montreal Canadines in 1-for-1 swap.

The Blackhawks are continuing to rebuild to return to their glory years. They won the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013 and 2015, with center Jonathan Toews and forward Patrick Kane as the centerpieces of the franchise.
