On Wednesday at 7:40 p.m. the NWS Raleigh NC released a flood advisory in effect until 9:30 p.m. for Edgecombe and Wilson counties.

At 3:23 a.m. on Thursday, the NWS Fort Worth TX released a flash flood warning in effect until 6:30 a.m. for Tarrant County.

Street flooding is possible in parts of Houston, and the risk for hail and damaging winds continues. The storms should move out by late afternoon. Currently, high water has been reported on FM 1960 between Huffman and Eastgate in northeast Harris County.

Some parts of Southeast Texas have already seen up to 10 inches of rain on Thursday morning, prompting flash flood warnings.
