In a delightful surprise for Grounded fans, Obsidian took to the stage at the Xbox Games Showcase last weekend to reveal an unexpected sequel simply dubbed Grounded 2. Obsidian has shared that Grounded 2 will take cues from its predecessor by similarly launching into early access and growing over time with the support and feedback of the community.

Grounded 2 is a sequel to the action-adventure survival game where you've been shrunken down to the size of an ant and must gather, craft, and build bases in a suburban backyard environment with three other players.

So there were four major updates after Grounded 1.0 released, and then some other support updates that came out. But on one hand, there were some limitations with technology, because Grounded was supported all the way back on the Xbox One,

This is shaping up to be a huge year for Obsidian Entertainment as they recently released Avowed in February with Outer Worlds 2 landing on October 29. On top of that, Grounded 2 is slated to release next month of July 29 for Game Preview (essentially Early Access).
