Paul Maurice figured the third line alongside young Finns Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen was the perfect place for Brad Marchand, and it has worked out swimmingly.

Marchand, who also scored five goals in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final with the Boston Bruins, joined Mario Lemieux (five goals in 1991 and 1992 with the Pittsburgh Penguins) as the only players to score at least five goals in a Cup Final in the NHL expansion era (since 1967-68).

The Florida Panthers can repeat as Stanley Cup champs with a win in Game 6 or 7. Trading for Marchand has been a huge part of the Panthers’ latest run.
