Two Houston Martin Luther King Jr. Day parades will unite into one event in 2026, Mayor John Whitmire announced on Tuesday.
Whitmire announced an agreement between the two groups who put on two different MLK Day parades in Houston and got them to agree to have them have only one parade – a Unity Parade – on Jan. 19, 2026.
