WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – 10 sheriffs from around the country were invited to the White House this week, including Walton County’s very own, Michael Adkinson.

During a press conference, Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson. Jr said May had volunteered for overtime that day and was responding to his final call of the shift when he was shot.
