Welcome back Canadian smoke. You weren’t missed. Another Air Quality Alert has been issued a large portion of the state until 11:00 p.m. Thursday for much of central and southern Minnesota.

The air quality index has reached the orange category, signaling potential health risks for those with heart and lung conditions, children, and older adults.

It smells like a bonfire outside Tuesday due to another day of poor air quality caused by smoke from the wildfires in Canada.
