Despite currently being on their hot streak, the Toronto Blue Jays are looking to upgrade their pitching rotation.

By mid-June last year, the Toronto Blue Jays’ trajectory was set. They were 15 games back of the division lead and quickly drifting out of the postseason race. Things never got better. The Blue Jays sold hard at the 2024 trade deadline,

“The Blue Jays have made acquiring a starting pitcher their priority at this deadline,” Bowden wrote. “They match up well with the Diamondbacks for one of their impending free-agent starters, Zac Gallen or Merrill Kelly, if Arizona decides to sell, or perhaps with the Angels for Tyler Anderson.”
