NEW YORK (Gray News) - An 11-year-old boy reportedly died Monday after subway surfing in New York City. CBS News New York reports that Cayden Thompson was riding on top of a G train when he hit his head on a metal overhang by the Fourth Avenue station and died.

New York police have arrested one of two people they suspect of taking and crashing an empty subway train. The person arrested, a 17-year-old girl, is charged with criminal mischief over the incident in Briarwood subway station in Queens, shortly after midnight on 12 September.
