Newcastle United are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike, who Eddie Howe supposedly sees as a partner for star striker Alexander Isak, but the transfer poses a number of dilemmas.

Newcastle have made their stance clear on Alexander Isak clear - despite launching a club record bid for Hugo Ekitike. Ekitike, 23, was on fire in the Bundesliga, netting 22 goals and providing 12 assists in 48 matches for Frankfurt,
