Wendy McMahon’s exit has some employees feeling “like a purge is underway,” one CBS correspondent told CNN on Monday.

Wendy McMahon has announced her resignation as the president and CEO of CBS News and Stations, the latest departure from the network amid the pending acquisition by Skydance. McMahon wrote to staffers,

It’s become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward,” Wendy McMahon wrote to the staff, weeks after the top producer at "60 Minutes" resigned.
