PCB in a social media post had announced that they'll be conducting a trophy tour in cities Skardu, Hunza and Mazafarabad, which fall in disputed territory of Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

The drama surrounding the ICC Champions Trophy is not ending. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had stated that the trophy would be visiting destinations like Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. However, ICC has refused Pakistan from taking it to conflicted PoK cities.

The PCB’s demand for clarification comes amidst political strains that have kept India and Pakistan from playing bilateral cricket on each other’s soil since 2008.

Currently, neither Pakistan nor India are taking a step back from their current stance, meaning no compromise is yet to be reached on the tournament's location.
