P.J. Fleck likely isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Minnesota's football coach agreed to a contract extension with the school that runs through the 2030 season. Minnesota hired Fleck, 44, in January of 2017.

The University of Minnesota and head football coach P.J. Fleck have agreed to a new contract extension. Fleck has been at the helm of the Gopher football team for eight years, and has notched one of the more successful runs in recent Gopher history.

Gophers football coach P.J. Fleck will get a one-year contract extension with increased retention bonuses, pending approval at the next Board of Regents meeting July 9.
