The Polk County Board of Supervisors confirmed with WHO 13 News that Polk County Administrator John Norris was placed on administrative leave on Friday. Jonathan Cahill, a communications specialist with the board said he couldn’t comment further due to it being a personnel matter.

Norris' leave comes as the Board of Supervisors recently named new leadership and welcomed new members to their ranks.
