A suspect has been arrested in the shocking crossbow attack on a North Jersey bird store owner, authorities said Tuesday.

A pet shop in New Jersey has been the subject of multiple crimes in recent weeks after its owner was shot in the face with a crossbow and an expensive bird was stolen.

An arrest has been made in the crossbow attack of a the owner of a pet shop in Saddle Brook, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

"He shot me without any warning,” the owner said of the man who allegedly pointed a crossbow at her face and fired on Monday.
