They went to Walmart to pick up fishing poles, pop and snacks for a day on the lake. They wound up stopping a stabbing.

The mother of one of the 11 people stabbed at a Traverse City-area Walmart said she grieves for not only the victims, but for the man who stabbed her son and the others.
