Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets across Southern California on Saturday to voice their concerns over ongoing immigration raids and oppose the policies of President Trump, who they depicted as an aspiring monarch.

Social media users slammed CBS News for seemingly advertising "No Kings Day" protest merchandise ahead of anti-Trump demonstrations, calling the move unethical amid controversies.

Across the country, relatively few disruptions were reported during protests and marches where the mood ranged from joyful to defiant.

Demonstrations in downtown Los Angeles drew thousands of protesters, and their signs and chants weren’t limited to messages of opposition against President Trump or ICE. Many attendees carried signs decrying billionaires,

South Jersey residents, such as Jessica Herrera of Cherry Hill, took to the streets of Philadelphia to sound off against the Trump administration.

The event — in which participants lined the bridge from Wysor Street to Riverside Avenue — was part of a nationwide "No Kings" protest.
