President Donald Trump’s decision to increase federal law enforcement and immigration agents in Washington, D.C., has had an impact on neighborhoods like Columbia Heights.

The Trump administration is expanding National Guard support at immigration detention sites. Florida activated troops on Tuesday.

Personnel from West Virginia arrived Monday, with troops from South Carolina, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee and Louisiana expected to arrive Tuesday.
