The shooting at UPMC Memorial Hospital Saturday left one police officer and the gunman dead and several staff members and law enforcement offers injured.

Lester Mendoza, a physician assistant at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, said he helped tell the shooter a loved one had passed days before the shooting.
