Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange platform backed by the billionaire Winklevoss twins, has filed to go public on the heels of the frenzied debut by stablecoin issuer Circle Internet Group Inc.

Gemini, the crypto firm founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, has confidentially filed for an IPO in the U.S. The filing follows the SEC’s decision to drop its investigation into Gemin,i and the company's $5 million settlement with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
