At the commencement of the 119th Congress, conservative Republican Brandon Gill was today sworn in as Congressman for Texas’ 26th Congressional District.

Brandon Gene Gill [1] (born February 26, 1994) [2] is an American politician and investment banker who is the representative for Texas's 26th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. [3] Gill won the Republican primary for the district on March 5, 2024. [4] Gill defeated Democrat Ernest Lineberger III in the general election.

It is the honor of my lifetime to represent Texas’ 26th Congressional District. I was born on a military air force base in New Mexico and grew up on a cattle ranch in West Texas. I attended Dartmouth College and graduated cum laude with degrees in both Economics and History. I was President of the conservative paper, The Dartmouth Review.
