White represents peace and purity, because before civil war, this county was the most peaceful in Liberia. Grand Gedeh County: White and blue represent peace, purity, unity, and prosperity.

Nov 29, 2017 · The Liberian county flags are infamously bad, and have seen several others have a shot at redesigning them so wanted to have a go. I reduced the cantons to only the canton from the Liberian national flag, I think this worked well in most cases but not so well in others.

Aug 3, 2023 · These are not two different flags, they're two different illustrations of the same flag design. It's never a good idea to treat a single image as "the flag" - flags often have variation in the precise details of their execution, and beyond that, illustrators don't always do a great job/have great source information.

Jan 12, 2018 · In my honest opinion the Liberian flags are actually good, dare I say great. They break all the rules and look terrible but they do the fundamental job of a flag perfectly: they're so easily recognizable, by looking so ugly. Yes the Liberian county flags are truly a riddle wrapped in a mystery wrapped in an enigma.
