At the close of business on April 15th, all unpaid taxes are transferred to the Hopkins County clerk’s office. The taxpayer will need to contact the Hopkins County clerk’s office at 270-326-2097 for inquiries regarding current amounts due.

Pursuant to KRS 61.870 to 61.884, the public is notified that, as provided herein, the public records of the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office, of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, are open for inspection by any resident of Kentucky on written application to the Custodian of Records for the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office.

Four Hopkins County law enforcement officers, who were killed in the line of duty many years ago, are going to be honored in May when their names are placed on the police memorial wall in Washington. These officers served our community around the turn of the 20th century.
