He doesn't have the same athletic ability due to his age but he is a good athlete for a C yet. He is a lob/put back threat and he has improved his FT shooting...71% last year.

Jan 15, 2025 · With Nurkic or another strong rebounder at C and a solid SF (Dunn or another similar player) KD is absolutely fine as a PF nowadays, but playing Tyus/Book/ Beal (or Allen) and Plumlee/Oso at C we are gonna struggle at rebounding FOR SURE. We need to get a big C good enough to play 20/25 minutes per game. And we need him NOW.

Jan 1, 2025 · I don’t even follow the g league but I’m sure there’s better options at center there than Mason Plumlee. They can use Grayson or Okogie expiring+2nds. Adding some athletic players around their 2 best players, even if they aren’t talented enough would do wonders for this team. Just look at what Dunn did.

Charlotte would have to send a second player back to Phoenix, but has several options that would work for salary-matching purposes.
